We are going to Disney World in January. I am trying to purchase theme park tickets for the family (Me, My Husband, and our two kids ages 2 & 4). It says tickets are for ages 10+? Do I need to buy tickets for my kids?

    Heigh-Ho Courtney,

I am so thrilled to hEAR you are visiting The Most Magical Place On Earth, this coming January, and during The World's Most Magical Celebration. Before I continue any further I suggest creating a My Disney Experience profile and downloading the mobile app. This is your vacation hub where you will purchase and link your Walt Disney World tickets, reserve your Disney Park Pass Reservation and learn about the Disney Genie, Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane features offered to Guests as well as much, much more. Become comfortable navigating everything it can do for you before and during your visit.

Walt Disney World tickets are easily customizable and pricing depends on when you are visiting, the number of days you would like to visit the parks, any additional upgraded ticket options and if you are purchasing an Adult (10+) and/or Child (3-9) ticket. If your 2-year old will still be 2-years old, on the first arrival day, then they will NOT need a park ticket and you will not need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for them. Assuming this is the case, and after checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar for the dates you are interested, you will purchase two Adult tickets and one Child ticket for your January visit. As you navigate through purchasing tickets, you will follow the prompts to assign the tickets to your family and make Disney Park Pass reservations. This information will show up in your My Disney Experience after you have completed the purchase and can be modified online or in your app. As a side note, if you make any advanced dining reservations make sure your include your youngest in the reservation party count. My planDisney Sis Jackie has some great information for families with kids under the age of 3-years old.
