    We are going to Disney World January 11 -15th and have rented a car and a condo just outside of Disney World ... Are you able to buy a parking pass in advance? Would like to take advantage of the preferred parking if that's possible. Thank You! Lesa

    Hi Lesa!

    My husband and I have used the Preferred Parking  option many times this fall at the Walt Disney World parks. We have our motor coach at the Fort Wilderness Resort and sometimes just want to run over for dining or shopping and don’t want to wait on the bus or park miles away. For resort guests it is only a $20 charge but for anyone not staying on property it is $40.

    Although this is a steep price to pay for parking if you wish to be as close to the entrance of a park then this is the way to go. You will be directed to the correct lot and be offered water when you leave the car. If you choose to go from one park to another on that same day you are able to use the Preferred Parking at the second park without paying again. 

    You cannot get a parking pass early and will have to purchase this option each day when you arrive at the parking booths. As I mentioned it is good only for that day. You will see a sign up stating if Preferred parking is available and if it is simply let the cast member know you wish that option.

    Enjoy the parks and hopefully the easy parking for you during your visits.
