We have a Disney World hotel stay scheduled for Jan 3-4, 2024. We also reserved 4-day park tickets. But we need those to be available the days before arrive, instead of the days after. We plan to go to the parks Dec 29 - Jan 4. Thanks.

    Hi Melissa,

Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season is truly magical! The parks are adorned with festive decorations, special holiday entertainment fills the air, and there's a sense of joy and excitement everywhere you go. Spending New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World is indeed an amazing experience, and one of the best places to ring in the new year is at EPCOT, with its spectacular fireworks display and lively atmosphere.

However, it's important to note that this time of year tends to draw in large crowds, so being prepared for that is key to maximizing your enjoyment.

Regarding your question about adjusting your park tickets to start earlier, it sounds like you're currently scheduled to check in to your Disney World hotel on January 3, 2024, but you'd like your park tickets to be valid for entry starting on December 29 instead. If your ticket is date-based, it would typically be valid for entry starting on the day you check into your Disney Resorts Collection hotel.

Without knowing if you've booked your hotel and tickets together as part of a vacation package, it's a bit tricky to provide a precise answer. I recommend contacting the Walt Disney World Resort directly to discuss your specific situation. Explain what you need to do, and they should be able to assist you further and provide recommendations on what will work best for your specific needs.

If you've booked a vacation package with both room and tickets included, you may need to reconsider if that's the best option for you since you require your tickets before your check-in date. In that case, booking a room-only reservation and purchasing tickets separately to start on the day you first need them might be a more suitable solution.

Feel free to reach out to Disney directly for personalized assistance with your ticket and accommodation arrangements. They're there to help make your Disney vacation as magical as possible!
