Will Disney World honor expired 4-day tickets?, we where going to use them last year but because of the pandemic we were unable to do so.

    Hey Eunice!

Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your great question about Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets.

Eunice, I have great news for you! Because you never used your theme park tickets last year, it is highly probable that they are not expired!

In fact, your tickets have likely had their expiration dates extended to September 26, 2021. Partially used multi-day theme park tickets with a usage window impacted by the Walt Disney World Resort pandemic-related closure, or unused date-specific theme park tickets purchased through June 6, 2020, with a valid use period beginning March 12, 2020, or later, will be automatically extended to be used any date through September 26, 2021! Additionally, tickets that are not date-specific normally do not begin to expire until after their first use.

However, if you cannot visit by September 26, 2021, it is okay! You may apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date. In other words, yes, they will honor your theme park ticket.

Verifying this information and checking if your tickets are expired is quite easy, Eunice!

If you wish to check from home, please email ticket.usage@disneyworld.com and include the following information:

    - Photograph or scan of the front and back of your ticket
    - Your full name
    - Where and when ticket your ticket was purchased
    - The purchaser’s name and form of payment used
    - A phone number where you can be reached during the day

While it is always their goal to get back to you as soon as possible, a reply may take up to 14 business days. If you are traveling soon, please e-mail them as soon as possible.

If you prefer to check on your tickets upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort, you can do so at any of the following locations:

    - Any of the ticket windows at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks or water parks
    - Concierge desks at Disney Resort hotels
    - Guest Relations at Disney Springs

I hope I have helped answer your question, Eunice. We look forward to safely welcoming you during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort. Don’t forget to make your Disney Park Pass theme park reservation as soon as possible! Please visit planDisney again if you have any other questions.
