Will Disney world guests be required to show proof of vaccination once the mask policy changes on February 17?

    Hello Rick,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I hope you are looking forward to a magical vacation, or day in the parks. The new nighttime shows, Harmonious at EPCOT and Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom are absolutely stunning!

As you may know, Walt Disney World has made several changes over the past couple of years to help their guests feel more comfortable when visiting the parks. When and where face coverings are required is one of them. As of February 17, face coverings are optional for all guests outdoors, regardless of vaccination status. Indoors, face coverings are optional for vaccinated guests, while unvaccinated guests are still expected to wear them. On enclosed transportation, like monorails, buses, and Disney Skyliner, all guests must wear face coverings, regardless of vaccination status.

While guests are encouraged to be vaccinated, Cast Members will not ask you to provide proof of your vaccination status.

Hope this helps. Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
