Hello Daniel, and welcome to planDisney!
I am so glad to hear that you are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this summer. This summer will be the trip to remember with your entire family. Grand gatherings are so much fun, even though they take some extra planning. The core memories will last forever!
Your group will be able to join in the
World’s Most Magical Celebration along with all the new experiences created specifically for the 18-month long party. My favorite celebration is
Disney’s Enchantment! A brand new nighttime spectacular with magnificent pyrotechnics set to an amazing arrangement of your favorite Disney movie soundtracks. The best viewing is on Main Street U.S.A. so you can enjoy the projections on Cinderella Castle and the buildings on Main Street.
If your group of Guests will need at least 10
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel rooms for at least one night, you would be eligible for special group offers. If your group meets these requirements you should reach out to the
Group Reservations team. They can provide you with the information that will benefit your group.
Since you are such a large group, I have a few tips for making it easier to keep up with such a large group. I have traveled with an extended family of about 25 members in my party and we decided to have a few designated planners. This team included me and 3 other adults. We were responsible for making sure that everyone was connected to the planners in My Disney Experience on our
My Family & Friends lists. This makes it easier for the members of your group plan to use services like Genie+ and to coordinate Individual Lightning Lane reservations.
With so many people in your group, you may find it difficult to make dining reservations, so you may want to break up into smaller groups of 6 to find a table at your favorite restaurants. This will allow you to make multiple reservations to dine at the same time. Lastly, you will want to make sure to purchase a Memory Maker, this will allow you to capture all the photos taken by Disney’s PhotoPass photographers during your entire trip. My family made it a point to take at least one large group photo in each park. You will be able to download and share your photos with all the members of your group.
I hope this helps with your planning. Do not forget to make your Park Pass Reservations as soon as you purchase your tickets. Each theme park has limited availability and you will be visiting during a very popular summer holiday.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
