going to be at disney world for my grandson 6th birthday is there a restaurant that does any thing special

    Hi, Shauna!

Oh, my goodness! Celebrating a 6th birthday at Walt Disney World is so magical! What a great grandmother you are for looking into making this even more special for your little prince!

Just about any WDW Table-Service restaurant can make a big deal about this birthday, but Chef Mickey's and The Crystal Palace may be your best choices. At Chef Mickey's the birthday boy will be the center of attention as Mickey & Friends make character appearances at each table, with the entire restaurant singing a special song for those who are there for a birthday celebration. The Crystal Palace brings Winnie the Pooh & Pals to each table, with a fun parade for all of the kids who care to join. With the younger crew, we love buffets such as these for two reasons: you do not have to wait for the food to be served (these kids are HUNGRY!) and kids can see what each dish looks like before deciding if they'd like to try it.

In addition, should you wish to do something extra-special, you can have a Specialty Cake delivered to most Table-Service restaurants. Take a look at your options on this link to Customize Your Special Occasion, where you'll find two options for cakes that require 72 hours advanced notice and one that can be requested upon arrival.

Pick up a complimentary Birthday Recognition Button at your WDW Resort hotel or at Guest Relations in any park or Disney Springs, too. Cast Members and guests alike will wish your grandson a happy birthday throughout your entire trip--so much fun!

Send more questions as you think of them, Shauna; we love to help!
