We are going to disney world and were given the free dining plan for booking. We are staying 5 nights but are only going to park for 3 days. Do you get free dining for each day you're at the resort, or only on days when you're attending a park?

    Hi, Teresa!

You will love the Disney Dining Plan!  So many great restaurant choices and great flexibility with the plan.

Your dining credits are based on the number of nights of your stay.  For your family, you will be based on your 5 nights.  Credits can be used in theme parks, resort hotels, water parks, and Downtown Disney, so even if you are not in a park, there are plenty of locations to use your credits.

I do not know which plan you have, so check HERE  and click on your plan.  This will explain the Dining Plan in detail as well as show you a list of restaurants.  If you have the base Dining Plan and it includes Table Service meals, make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

If you have any additional questions, drop us a note so we can help you plan out your meals during your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
