    I will be in Disney World from 11/6-11/17/12 can I see the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian being built ? Are their any other resorts with special Holiday displays ?

    Mickey Mouse must sure love the holidays, because he certainly gets the parks and resorts decked out for Christmas!  

    You will find magical displays and decorations all over property.  You are on the early side of Christmas, but you will still be able to see some of the holiday magic, even if it is still getting the finishing touches!  The most complete decorations will be found at the Magic Kingdom.  Nothing can top the spectacle of the Castle Dream Lights.  They are absolutely breathtaking. 

    The Boardwalk Resort is home to the Holiday Gazebo and Stitch's Bakery Store Front.  These should be in full swing by November 16, so stop by!  Fun fact for you:  the chefs used over 300 pounds of chocolate on the Gazebo alone!  

    The Contemporary Resort boasts a 17 foot tall Gingerbread Christmas tree!  You can buy plenty of yummy treats here including cookies, snacks, and of course gingerbread!  This will be ready for guests beginning November 15.  

    There are a few displays that will not be ready during your stay:  The Gingerbread House in the Grand Floridian and the Holiday Carousel in the Yacht and Beach Club.  You might get a peek of them building these masterpieces if you stop by!
