Where do we get Disney world gift cards and can our relatives children use them at all shops and restaurants? I’m so sorry Disney dollars are no longer available Great aunt Georgia

    Hi Georgia! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for sending such a great question my way! I love helping with all sorts of Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, and I'm a big fan of Disney Gift Cards. They are such a great way to budget for a vacation and giving them to kids in smaller increments is the perfect way to let the kids pick out treats and souvenirs!

I often pick up Disney Gift Cards at local grocery stores. One of the best perks of purchasing gift cards at grocery stores is that I often get lots of "fuel points" which means discounts on gas for our vehicles. It's a win-win for me! Places like Sam's Club and Costco usually have large amounts of Disney Gift Cards at a slightly reduced price. I love a good bargain!

You can also purchase Disney Gift Cards that are delivered electronically to the receiver on shopDisney. You just need your relative's name and email address and they will get the gift card in the email. They can show the barcode on their phone to use in the theme parks or print out a copy and take that with them. Just visit the link I included above to find some options.

I hope this helps, Georgia! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
