Hi, Natalie! You can see the
Cars characters at Disney's Hollywood Studios on the Streets of America between "Muppet Vision 3D" and "Lights, Motors, Action!" Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater are inside Luigi's Casa Della Tires, and although there's an opportunity to get a picture, they can not sign autographs. Make sure you check the Times Guide when you enter the park -- the characters are
usually there between 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
As far as dining, I've listed a few of our family's favorite table service, quick service and snack option places at each of the four parks. For outside the parks, send me another question, and I'll give you those choices as well!
- At MK, our favorite character meal is Crystal Palace with the Pooh Characters. We also like to sit outside at Tony's Square Restaurant. My counter service meal is Columbia Harbour House because the upstairs seating offers a great respite from the crowds. Our snack of choice is the Toll House Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow Snacks.
- At Epcot, my kids always want to return to the cooking tables of Teppan Edo in Japan. They enjoy the Garden Grill for a character meal, and our favorite quick service is the Sunshine Season Food Fair at the Land Pavilion. They like to hit Club Cool -- free Coca-Cola tasting -- and nothing beats a stop for ice cream at Fountain View Ice Cream.
- At the Studios, we like the food and atmosphere of the Sci Fi Dine In, and for quick service, we enjoy the Backlot Express. For snacks, yummy options are ice cream at Hollywood Scoops or baked items at Starring Rolls Cafe.
- At AK, we like the Yak & Yeti for table service, and the only option for a character meal is Donald's Safari Breakfast. Pizzafari or Flame Tree BBQ are great choices for a quick service meal. Yet, we really like to snack during the day, and enjoy a table service meal at Rainforest Cafe after the park closes.
