We'll be going to Disney World the first week in June. Whats your opinion? How busy will the crowds be. It's not to late for me to reschedule for the 2nd week in June. What do you think?

Hi Patty! Keep your reservations. My opinion is the first week of June will be less crowded than the second week of June. Fewer families will be visiting Walt Disney World earlier in the month because some schools begin their summer break later in June.

In general crowds peak during children's vacations such as spring break, Christmas, and three day weekends. Special events such as runDisney races or Night of Joy also bring more guests to the parks. Disney's Hollywood Studios will be hosting Star Wars Weekends the end of May and the first two weekends in June so crowds will be higher at this theme park on those dates. I love Star Wars Weekends so the extra people do not bother me. The guests dressed in character and the galactically festive atmosphere are part of the fun but you might choose to visit another theme park on those dates.

    Enjoy your magical vacation.
