Hi Pamela,
It is always a treat to see a question from a fellow Texan. I'll bet you are pretty excited to share your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation with your granddaughter. You will be amazed at how much fun it is to see the wonder and magic through their eyes.
The
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is definitely an experience that could be considered as pretty girly! However, sometimes the magic of the atmosphere can awaken that fairy tale dream to become a princess. While it is hard to guarantee that there could be appointments available on a last minute basis, it is possible. There are guests that cancel plans on a daily basis, so you could get vary lucky, if she becomes interested in experiencing a royal makeover.
I would also like to offer a few alternatives that might be just as appealing. There is an Empress and/or Mermaid makeover package at the
Pirates League. While my daughter is quite the princess, she was more interested in the options at the Pirates League. The face painting is spectacular and very realistic and the experience offers a few extras like taking the pirates' oath and getting a special "name" to coincide with the package you choose. It really is a fantastic experience that I highly recommend.
Over at Disney Springs, they offer
face painting in a numerous amount of options. You can also find these face painting kiosks in most of the theme parks, as well. Note that there are no reservations available for these stations.
Have a magical trip making wonderful memories.
