We will be in Disney World the first week of August and have the mid level dining plan. Since we have small appetites, can we order one meal to share at a table service restaurant?

    Hi Joanne,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

The answer to your question depends on the type of dining experience you’ve chosen. If it’s a buffet or family style meal, then everyone will be charged the required number of Disney Dining Plan entitlements for their meal there, regardless of whether or not they’re eating/sharing a plate. For “a la carte” dining experiences, however, I understand that sharing plates is allowed, provided you only order one beverage, one entree and one dessert between two people.

Please note that policies regarding how to use Disney Dining Plan entitlements is subject to change at any time so, if you have any questions please direct them to your server.

I hope my answer helps you plan your August vacation - it will be here soon! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
