We will be going to Disney World for the first time with a six year old litlle girl. How many days will we need to see everything? We would like to take a break in between just to rest?

Hi Cindy!  Congratulations on the first-time trip to Walt Disney World!  It is such a magical place for 6-year-old girls, and you will have the privilege of seeing it all through her eyes, as well as your own!

I have been to Walt Disney World multiple times every year since it opened, and I STILL haven't seen everything!!!  There is just so much to see and do!

However, it is possible to get a great overview of each of the four major Disney Parks on one trip.  We like to schedule a 6-day vacation whenever possible.  This way we can spend one entire day at each major Park, and have a couple of days off in between to rest up and enjoy some of the other amenities of Walt Disney World, such as the Water Parks, Downtown Disney & Marketplace, miniature golf, and other recreational sports.  Those rest days really are helpful to ensure we are rested enough to enjoy each park as much as possible!

So, you are on the right track, desiring to schedule that "break" in the middle of your visit to get some rest!

If you are able to spend more days at WDW, then you can look into adding extra visits to your favorite Parks.  That way, you can see more - even though it still probably won't be everything!

I hope you have a magical vacation in Walt Disney World!
