I was in Disney World for the first time in September and I LOVED every minute of it!! I'm going again December 2011 (4th-11th). Do you have any suggestions on how to keep myself sane for 11 1/2 months??

Hi Grace! I totally understand, it can be difficult to wait for your next Disney Vacation. I have a few suggestions that have helped me make it until my next Disney Vacation. I have traveled with my family to Disney's Doorway to Dreams in Schaumburg, Illinois and enjoyed touring the Model of a Disney Vacation Club Villa. The Cast Members have pins to trade, stickers for the kids and provide a good dose of Pixie Dust. The great news is that there is a Doorway to Dreams in Long Island, New York. That should be a bit closer than Orlando, LOL!

You could have a Disney Dessert Party. Invite a few of your family and friends over to enjoy some favorite Disney treats. The infamous Mickey Rice Krispie Treats along with Disney Trivia or Disney Games will definitely make for a great time.

You could request a Walt Disney World Vacation Planning DVD and watch it for inspiration and ideas on your upcoming Disney Vacation.

You could also create a Disney Vacation Planning binder with pockets for the 2011/2012 Vacation Planning Guides and Books that you purchase. Browse your Binder when ever you feel like a dose of Pixie Dust.

The number one way to make it to your next Disney vacation...a Disney Vacation! I must admit, the best way to make it to the next planned Vacation is a quick, surprise trip to Walt Disney World for a few days. I hope that one of these suggestions works for you. Happy Waiting!
