We going to Disney World for the first time this October! We plan on buying tickets to MNSSHP as well. Does the trick or treating last the entire event, or are there limited hours?

    Hi Corrie!

A fall Walt Disney World vacation is one of the best for weather and crowds and things to do and experience. The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is under way at Epcot and of course the Magic Kingdom is host to the great special event party, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

When you purchase tickets to this party you are guaranteed an evening of fun with special entertainment, character meet and greets, trick or treating, parade and fireworks, and less crowds. With a ticket to this event you can actually enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm but the festivities will not officially begin until 7pm. The trick or treating stations will be open from 7pm-midnight which is the entire party. Lines will be the longest from around 7:30 until the fireworks. Make sure you check all the spots that are available as some are more on an off beaten path and they usually will not have long lines. In the past the lines at Splash Mountain have been long but you would also hit about three spots of where they would be giving out candy so the wait was worth it in the end.

When you enter be sure and get the trick or treat bag they will offer. You can also bring your own if that is easier. It is a great night and I highly recommend you stop and watch the parade as it is one of the best Disney has. The Headless Horseman runs through the streets before it and it is amazing! Have fun!
