    Hello! I am going to Disney World for the first time on October 5th through October 13th. Since I have never been to Disney World I am not sure on what type of clothes I should pack. Any Suggestions?

    Hi Stacey,
    October is my favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World.  The weather is fantastic.  Usually in the mid 70's with lows in the mid 50's and usually sunny.  Since it is cool in the mornings and evenings, I would recommend bringing a jacket.   We will use zip-off pants- nylon pants that zip-off into shorts or capris.  I always bring rain jackets because showers can happen this time of year in Orlando.  I check the weather for Orlando a week prior to my vacation and adjust accordingly.  For my family, I will bring jeans, zip-off pants, t-shirts, jackets and hats.  
    I also recommend going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  The dates for this event will be out later this month.  You will be able to go Trick-Or-Treating in Magic Kingdom.  The characters are in costume, and everyone is encouraged to dress up as well.  There is a special "Boo to You" Halloween Parade which is amazing!  Make sure that check out the start of the parade because you will see the Headless Horseman riding through Magic Kingdom.  HalloWishes is a special fireworks show that is only shown the night of the party.  You will love this!
