Going to Disney World for the first time in October, our daughter is 4 and our son is 2. I have made dining reservations at Akerhus, The Crystal Palace, Be Our Guest and Chef Mickey's, with this in mind is it beneficial to have a dining plan?

    Hi Michelle!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My sons are 4 years old and 2 years old, so I have lots of experience vacationing with little ones at Walt Disney World Resort. For my family, it works out really well for us to plan one table service dining experience per day as a way to break up our time in the theme park. Plus, Character Dining is perfect because it is a chance to meet some of your favorite Disney Characters while you are taking a break from the heat and the crowds in the parks and enjoying a fantastic meal! When I am planning our trips, if we are planning one Character dining experience per day, I think it is worth it for us to use the Disney Dining Plan. This plan entitles you to one table service entitlement, one quick service entitlement and one snack per day per person on our reservation 3 years old or over. (If you are traveling in 2017, you will receive two snacks per day per person!) We used it for my last vacation where we enjoyed a Character dining meal everyday and it definitely saved us money and helped our trip be a wonderful vacation!

Please let us know if you have any questions as you prepare for your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
