    We will be at Disney World our first time next month. We have reservations at Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom for 5:30p.m., but I understand that Animal Kingdom closes at 5:00p.m. this same day. Will we be able to stay to get into the restaurant?

    Congratulations on your family's visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

     

    You will be able to enter the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom at 5:30 p.m. However, keep in mind you should arrive at the restaurant 20 minutes prior to your reservation time. I can assure you the theme park will not be completely empty by that time. This restaurant is located at the front entrance of the theme park. There is no need to be inside Animal Kingdom to enter the Rainforest Cafe. In fact, you can access this restaurant from two separate entrances. One is located inside Animal Kingdom, and the other outside the turnstiles. Resort buses usually run 90 minutes after the theme park closes.
