We are going to disney world for the first time to celebrate our daughters birthdays they are 5 & 6 It's a surprise trip & we are telling them the morning of our departure. I was wondering if you have any tips on how to reveal the trip!

    Hi Ciera,

Your little princesses are going to be so excited to visit Walt Disney World for the first time, and the fact that it will be their birthdays will make the experience much more magical! There are several things you can do to create a spectacular surprise for your girls. Take a peek at the Disney Store online to find inexpensive but fun souvenirs. These can be placed in a Disney decorated box which can be opened the morning of your travel day. You can also look in your local department stores for Disney themed items. Search for "letter templates from Mickey" and edit your favorite one to include your daughters' names and mention of the big surprise trip.

If you really want to personalize the surprise, you can write a letter to their favorite Disney characters, informing them that you are planning a surprise trip, and the girls would love an autographed photo saying "see ya real soon" or "see you tomorrow." How wonderful it would be for each little princess to have a personalized autograph photo to hold while traveling to Walt Disney World! Keep in mind that you will want to do this at least one month in advance, to make sure that it gets to your home in time for your trip. Send your letters to this address:

    Walt Disney World Communications
    P.O. Box 10040
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0040

I hope that answered your question, Ciera. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
