Hi ya, Shae!
Welcome to planDisney, it’s so nice to have you! I’m so happy to hear that you and your Mouseketeers are gearing up for a magical visit. You’ll also get to see the resort in its
holiday best, which makes it even better.
Assuming that you are planning on visiting one park each day, I’ll give you the basic layout of what my family does. The excitement is real on that first theme park day. Energy is high, and emotions are even higher. So we like to start our visit with a rush of thrilling adventures. Day one is usually Hollywood Studios because of
Toy Story Land, or
Magic Kingdom, because of the nostalgia. Day two is usually spent at
Animal Kingdom. Since this theme park closes a little earlier than the others, we take advantage of heading back early to rest for the next day. Day three, we rope drop, which means we are in the park before it officially opens, whichever park we didn’t do on day one, which is usually Magic Kingdom. And on the last day, we finish the fun with a visit around the world in
EPCOT.
If we visit with park hopper tickets, we usually hop back to Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom the evening of our last day. That way, my littles get the chance to ride their favorite ride one more time. Which is usually
Slinky Dog Dash or
Seven Dwarf Mine Train.
Shae, I hope this layout helps you create your own magical agenda. I also recommend checking the
theme park hours before finalizing your theme park days. Something else to consider is the entertainment times. If your heart is set on a nighttime spectacular or show, check out the days that entertainment is offered, so that you can make sure you are in the correct park to see it!
Again, I hope this helps, and if you need any more guidance or help with anything else, please don’t hesitate
to ask!
Happy Planning,
Shantel
