I will be in Disney World in a few days with some kiddos celebrating their first trip! I would love to get them "first visit" buttons, but we are not staying on Disney property. Is there a place in the parks we can pick them up?

    Hi there, Krista!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you must be super excited to visit the Walt Disney World Resort next week with kiddos who will be experiencing their very first trip to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" How fun!

A first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is definitely something to be celebrated. I'm thrilled to report that you do not have to stay on property in order to receive complimentary "1st Visit" buttons. You can pick up complimentary "1st Visit" buttons at Guest Relations or any merchandise location inside the theme parks. Although it's been quite some time since my kiddos experienced their very first visit, they love to wear birthday celebration buttons and receive birthday wishes from Cast Members and other Guests.

Before your trip, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app to manage your vacation plans, view attraction wait times, get showtimes for parades and fireworks, and book FastPass+ selections and dining reservations while on the go. Check out the 19 magical experiences at Walt Disney World Resort in 2019. It's an exciting year to visit!

I hope this information has been helpful, Krista. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical first trip!

    Happy Celebrating!
