We are going to Disney World in Feb. 2027. We would like to go three days to the park 2 days one weekend and then 1 day the following weekend because we have a cruise in the middle. Unfortunately it will not extend a 3 day ticket past 5 consecutive days

    Hiya, Kristin! Welcome to planDisney!

Land and sea vacations are the perfect vacations in my opinion, Kristin. I like your style! It combines the fun and exhilaration you get in the parks with the relaxed and rejuvenating vibes of a cruise. You really can’t go wrong! I am also going on a Disney Cruise in February 2027. Perhaps we’ll end up on the same ship!

To answer your question, Kristin, you are correct. As of this writing, date-based 3-day tickets do not have to be used on consecutive days, but they must be used within a 5-day period. With that in mind, you can absolutely purchase 2-day tickets for your first weekend and then 1-day tickets for your park day after your cruise.

I realize this may not be the news you were hoping to hear, Kristin. That said, you certainly have a lot to look forward to! The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is usually hosted in January and February. It ran from January 16 until February 23 this year, and although offerings are always subject to change, we can safely predict it will have similar dates next year. If your trip lines up, I highly recommend taking advantage of all of the offerings that the festival has to offer!

If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your vacation, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney. My fellow panelists and I are always happy to help!

    Happy planning & anchors aweigh!
