We will be in Disney World for a family Reunion Feb 21-March 2. We have 21 people in total. We want to use Capture your Moment to get a few photos of the whole family together. It only allows up to 8 ppl. What are our options for a group this size?

    Hiya, Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds as if you have quite the adventure planned this spring. Gathering with your Ohana in The Most Magical Place on Earth is the perfect way to create memories together that you will each cherish for a lifetime. And having photos of this epic reunion is the perfect souvenir. You are correct about the Capture Your Moment Guest limit. But Hakuna Matata, friend. You can still get the whole group together for fabulous family shots. There are a couple of options to consider and both will help you head home with picture-perfect photos to go with your memories.

The first option is to gather the whole crew at one of the many locations that offer a Disney PhotoPass photographer. They will be able to take photos of the group together. I recently had some fabulous photos of a large group of my planDisney Ohana taken in front of Cinderella Castle. The photographer did a great job of ensuring everyone is in the shot. Pro Tip: Schedule a meet-up time and location with your crew. Be sure everyone is together before getting in line. This will save time and the photographer can take your shot right away. I also recommend that at least one member of your family purchases Memory Maker so that you can download all the photos for one cost. Memory Maker even includes attraction photos and Magic Shots! You can purchase Memory Maker at a special price at least three days in advance. The full list of the PhotoPass locations can be viewed in the My Disney Experience app. Tap the location icon at the bottom of the screen and select PhotoPass from the drop-down menu to see a list of locations in each theme park.

Should you prefer a private session you still have options! You can reach out to Disney Fine Art Photography to inquire about family reunion photo shoot availability. Filling out an online contact form only takes a few moments. All you need to get started are your travel dates, the number of Guests, and any special requests you may have.

I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
