We are going to Disney World with family this fall, and are setting up our trips separately, but plan to dine together a few evenings. When setting a reservation, should I set one up separately from them, or make one reservation for the whole family?

Hello, dear Eva! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Fall is my FAVORITE season to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm so glad you're visiting in November! It's going to be fantastic!

You should definitely make one larger dining reservation for your whole group for every meal you plan to enjoy together. The reservations will guide Cast Members to find the perfect tables for your family, so it's vital to have everyone on the same booking. Children should also be included in all reservations, as they will be included in the number of Guests for each restaurant.

You will be able to make your dining reservations 180 days before your visit, Eva, and this deadline is very important if you intend to attend dining experiences like Cinderella's Royal Table or Be Our Guest Restaurant. If you're arriving on November 2, you will be able to start making your reservations on May 6.

If you're staying at a Disney Hotel, you'll be able to book dining reservations for up to 10 days beginning 180 days before your arrival date. The window opens at 6 a.m EST online (through the website and the My Disney Experience app) and 7 a.m. EST for reservations made over the phone.

I hope that you and your family have the BEST time at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall, Eva! If more questions pop up before then, please, let us know. We will be here to guide you!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
