Does Disney World have family bathrooms so my husband can take our 4 yr old daughter potty if I’m on a ride with our teenager?

Hiya, Sarah! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us!

There are a lot of reasons to love visiting Walt Disney World, including how easy they make things for families. There are single-stall, gender-neutral companion restrooms that provide more privacy and space across the entire resort, including at all four theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.

You can find a full list of companion restrooms here, as well as on the My Disney Experience mobile app. Open up your app and select the map  (the pin icon), and then choose the restrooms filter from the filter options along the top of your screen. The map will then display all the nearby restrooms, and any companion restroom will be labeled as such (Enchanted Forest Companion Restroom, Pirates of the Caribbean Companion Restroom, etc.).

While your 4-year-old might insist they’re a “big kid” now,  it's also worth noting that the Baby Care Centers have restroom facilities with smaller toilets for preschoolers. They also sell items like sunscreen and over-the-counter medications if you find you need any during your visit (subject to availability).

Sarah, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. I’m sure your family trip to the Vacation Kingdom of the World will be absolutely amazing. Don’t hesitate to send us any other questions you may have. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
