    Hi Disney World Experts, I was wondering if I purchase the Magic Kingdom after hours ticket, can I bring my family in an hour or 2 earlier than the designated time? I was trying to think of ways to avoid the mad rush of people leaving as we are entering.

    Hi, Stacey!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am so excited to hEAR that you are thinking about attending Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park!  Since a very limited number of tickets are sold for each Disney After Hours event, you can expect little-to-no wait time for many of your favorite attractions.  You can also expect a rare opportunity to snap a selfie in front of Cinderella Castle without anyone walking through the background!  Did you know that your Disney After Hours ticket also includes unlimited popcorn, Mickey ice cream bars, and select beverages? 

    Although Disney After Hours events do not officially start until after the theme parks close to regular daytime guests, your Disney After Hours ticket will allow you to enter the park starting at 7:00 p.m.  So go ahead and enjoy a few extra hours of magic.  I would definitely recommend using these extra hours to take in the Happily Ever After Fireworks.  This show is breathtaking and my personal favorite Walt Disney World nighttime spectacular.

    Be sure to keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website to see if additional dates are added for Disney After Hours.  Currently, the dates for Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park are listed through September 2019.  In my experience, Disney After Hours dates are usually only announced a few months in advance, so keep an eye out to see if dates during your vacation are announced.  I truly hope you will have the opportunity to attend this pixie-dusted event.
