Has Disney World expanded on the Resorts and locations that the Minnie Van Lyfts are servicing? In particular, I was wondering if they service to Walt Disney's vision of a town called Celebration?

    Hi Maureen,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I love, love, love your question about Celebration. I will share (excitedly!) that I'm a new urbanism enthusiast and love to visit new urban design communities whenever I can. I have read everything I can about Celebration, and my family and I have toured the homes and neighborhoods there many times. We have enjoyed the restaurants and shopping as well. Having a Celebration, Florida home address remains on my "someday" wish list. I could go on and on about Celebration, but let's get to your Walt Disney World question.

The new Minnie Van Service at Walt Disney World Resort is a fun and convenient car service for getting around Walt Disney World. My wife and I recently rode the dots and took a Minnie Van from our Disney Vacation Club resort at  Disney's BoardWalk Villas to our dinner reservation at California Grill.

Maureen, the Minnie Van Service currently is focused on transporting guests around the Walt Disney World Resort. I would encourage you to check with your resort hotel to ask about options for arranging a visit to Celebration. You could also use the Lyft app and simply select an option other than Minnie Van Service to arrange transportation beyond Walt Disney World Resort.

Say "hi" to Celebration for me, and enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
