Greetings Heidi and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so excited to hEAR that you will be at Disney during Easter. This is the most important religious holiday for my Catholic family so we always attend services even while traveling.
Although an official schedule for Easter events hasn’t been released yet, a Catholic mass has traditionally been offered every year at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia Ballroom. Services are usually scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. (a protestant service is offered at 9:00 a.m.). Check the exact times with Front Desk or Concierge at your Disney Resort hotel upon arrival. You may also visit The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe. The basilica is located near Disney Springs and if you check their website you will find all events for Easter week under “News and Events”.
In recent years Guests were able to joint
Egg-stravaganza at Epcot, where they received maps and searched for hidden eggs around the park.
Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny were also found meeting and greeting Guests at Magic Kingdom Park, and
Easter treats and eats were all around including the famous chocolate egg displays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, delicious surprises at Disney Springs, and Easter dining opportunities. I recommend checking the
Disney Parks Blog in the upcoming weeks for updates.
I hope this helps you while planning, Heidi! Please come back real soon with more questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
