    We are going to Disney World for Easter this year from April 20-25, 2014! The Festival of the Lion King is our favorite but we noticed that they are "hibernating" until early this summer. Do you know when that will be? Please be before April 2

    Hello Ellie!

    Congratulations on planning your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.  You are correct.  Festival of the Lion King did close while a new theater is being built for the show.  Unfortunately, no official reopening date has been announced as of this time.  I did hear that it is supposed to start performances again in Summer 2014.  It is for this reason that I highly doubt it would be open again by your dates of travel in April.  Be sure to check out the many other shows and attractions available by visiting the link I provided you.
