Hi Lori,
Thanks for stopping by with this egg-cellent question! My family absolutely LOVES Easter at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's where Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny choose to vacation after spending the entire year decorating Easter eggs, stocking up on jelly beans, concocting treats and filling those
gorgeous holiday baskets.
Disney has not officially revealed the activities related to Easter Sunday 2018. However, in the past, there have been
special Easter holiday activities at the Disney Parks. Your family will likely be able to join the Egg-stravaganza at World Showcase in Epcot. The specially-themed map kit is typically available for purchase at several locations there. The kit will contain stickers of all the "eggs" that can be found. Once the kit is completed, it may be returned for a very special surprise gift. In addition, there have been Easter egg hunts for children ages 3 to 9 and Easter egg relays for children ages 8 to 12. Guests had to check-in at the Easter Basket podium in the United Kingdom Pavilion before the hunts and relays.
Other fun activities associated with Easter at the theme parks have included a meet-and-greet opportunity with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny in Magic Kingdom Park. Once on site, please consult the Times Guide for scheduled appearances. Also, on Easter Sunday, Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade might feature Easter-themed pre-parade entertainment with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. As your departure date draws near, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the formal announcements about special holiday activities.
Wishing your family a most memorable Easter Sunday at the Walt Disney World Resort!
