Hi Tracy, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family loves spending Easter at Walt Disney World, and I’m so
hoppy to hear that you’ll be there in just a few sleeps.
In my experience, the resort hotels celebrate Easter with special activities for resort Guests. We’ve met Disney characters dressed in their Easter best, experienced candy scrambles, and had fun with activities at the pool and around the resort recreation areas. At Disney’s Pop Century Resort, check in with a Cast Member at the front desk about Easter activities, and look for signs around the resort starting on Friday or Saturday. I also highly recommend a trip to their food court, as they often have super-cute themed cupcakes and other treats.
My favorite egg hunt is the
Easter Egg-Stravaganza in Epcot’s World Showcase. Oversized Disney-themed Easter eggs are cleverly hidden around the World Showcase, and my family has a blast searching for them. You can stop in at Disney Traders or World Traveler to purchase a sticker map; once the map is complete, you can turn it in for a special Easter-themed prize.
Hop on over to Magic Kingdom Park to say hello and snap a cute photo with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. If you visit on Saturday or Sunday of Easter weekend, you’ll be able to see the Azalea Trail Maids in their gorgeous gowns as special guests in the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has an incredible display of themed eggs made by their world-class pastry chefs; my kiddos love looking for all the Disney touches. I bet there will be even more Easter news coming as we count down the days, so keep your bunny ears to the ground by reading the
Disney Parks Blog.
Have the most magical Easter, Tracy!
