    We are going to Disney World 12/1- 12/9. How would you dress the kids for the parks? Would you run back to the hotel mid day to grab sweat shirts.

    Hi Michelle! Florida weather is very unpredictable so it will be wise for you to check what the forecast is about a week out from your trip.  You can do that on many different sites but I prefer weather.com.

    In the past during this time I have always planned clothes with layering in mind.  Generally it can be quite cool in the early morning when you head out to the parks and then again in the evenings when the sun has set.  It will save you time if you start out with the light jacket or sweatshirt and bring along a simple carry bag for them when the sun comes out. Then you have it with you and you won't find a need to return to your resort just to pick up a wrap for the evening.  If you don't wish to carry a bag all day then you can rent a locker in each of the parks to leave your things you aren't using.

    Please be aware of the weather and heed what the weather man says when it comes to the temperatures.  For many years our family visited during the Thanksgiving week and although we set out for the parks when it was warm we would get caught in the evening and found ourselves buying sweatshirts for all.  They were cute sweatshirts but after a while you only need so many Mickey and Minnie's adorning your clothes!
