I am going to Disney World in Dec.with my daughter for her 10th Bday.First time visiting! I was wondering if there will be any Disney stars/celebrities there around that time? Thanks!

    Hi Libby,

The short answer to your question is, probably.  There are often celebrities at Walt Disney World, either touring the parks or doing publicity work.  However, Disney is the model of discretion when it comes to taking care of stars.  If a celebrity is visiting for enjoyment, they usually want to have the same enjoyable time as the rest of the guests visiting the parks.  If they are there for work purposes, they usually need to be able to get the job done with as few distractions as possible to keep to their busy schedule.

Last year I happened to be in Epcot at the same time as the Jonas Brothers.  I really ran upon them by accident, and not too many people had knowledge of their whereabouts.  Even so, there were hundreds of pre-teen girls waiting around to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.  Could you imagine what would happen if everyone knew he would be there.  Thousands of screaming fans would create quite a commotion (not to mention traffic jam) for guests just wanting to spend a nice day in the parks.

    I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

    Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
