We are going to Disney World in December!!! I was wondering if it is a good idea to put each kids spending money (ages 12, 8 & 7) on a prepaid visa? Do most vendors (including snack vendors) take Visa? Would it be easy to get cash off the cards?

    Natalie,

Visa is accepting pretty much everywhere in WDW.  I can't think of one place that wouldn't take it.  I have gone on many trips over the past few years and we use our credit cards or resort cards exclusively.

I don't think you would be able to get cash off of a prepaid Visa card, but that shouldn't be a problem.  You can also allow them to have charging privileges on their WDW resort cards.  When you check-in you can specify a certain limit for each child.

    Have a great trip

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
