Hi Michelle! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so happy you stopped by with your question. It’s our pleasure to help you plan a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, where magic is endless.
Michelle, visiting during Christmas is a holly jolly holiday! With all the special events, holiday treats, the magical and oh so Christmassy décor … it’s one of my absolute favorite times of the year to visit. But I understand wanting to experience everything that happens the during regular season. Historically, you will still be able to enjoy the non-holiday firework shows and other staple spectaculars like
Fantasmic! during the holidays with a little bit of planning.
Years past, you could enjoy the fireworks at Magic Kingdom on evenings when the special ticketed event,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, was not scheduled. And I would definitely recommend experiencing the brand-new nighttime spectacular Happily Ever After. I have no words to describe it, it is that good! Disney’s Hollywood Studios last year debuted a brand new holiday projection show called
Jingle Bell Jingle Bam!. This special holiday show is projected onto the Chinese Theater, while Fantasmic! happens at an amphitheater at a different location. If you are only planning on visiting this park on one day, depending on the schedule for these events, you might have to pick between them. But they are both wonderful and you will enjoy either of them you choose!
Full schedules for the holiday season are not yet available, but they should be very soon. So, continue checking back so you can plan accordingly and enjoy all the wonderful events that will be happening this holiday season.
Have a magical day and be sure to come back and see us again soon! ~Emille
