I was in Disney World December 27, 2023 until December 31. I went with my 2 boys. I became super ill on December 30 and was unable to use my ticket on December 31. Would I be able to still use that ticket for a future trip? I wanted to go next month.

Hey, howdy, hey, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like some magic might be just around the river bend for your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, so let's talk tickets!

Theme park tickets that are unused and not expired maintain their value for a future visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If the ticket you did not use was a single-day admission and not a multi-day admission, you should be able to see the ticket still active in your My Disney Experience account to modify its use date for your visit next month. If the ticket was part of a multi-day ticket in which you used some of the days, or was booked as part of a Walt Disney World vacation package, it likely had an expiration date attached to it, which means it would no longer be valid or retain value for a future visit. If you have specific questions, you can also reach out to a Cast Member at the Existing Tickets help desk for personal assistance.

Jessica, I know this might not be the most magical news you had hoped for, but I do want to tell you about a few special ticket offers that are currently available to guests that you might want to check out! Depending on the length of stay that you are currently planning for next month, there is both a 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket offer which includes one admission to each of the four theme parks, and a 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket which includes one admission to EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Both of these offers include tickets that do not require theme park reservations.

If you do visit next month, you might also want to check out Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, which recently reopened! My family is planning to spend some time catching waves there this summer as well, and we can't wait to take a plunge on Miss Adventure Falls and ride the Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster! And with the largest wave pool in North America, my kids are super excited to grab a tube and surf the day away! Be sure to also make some time to check out EPCOT's new nighttime spectacular, Luminous The Symphony of Us

I hope this helps, Jessica, and I hope you are able to make your visit next month extra magical! Come on back to planDisney in the meantime if you have any other vacation planning questions; we're all ears!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
