    When I get to Disney World in December, I plan on upgrading our tickets to annual passes. Can we use existing magic bands for our annual passes or do we have to get new ones? I have an issue with unnecessary waste (like having 5 different magic bands)! :

    Hooray for you!  Not only will you be visiting Walt Disney World during the festive holiday season, you are also going to upgrade your tickets to annual passes.  Sounds like you have been a good girl this year!

    You do not need to receive new MagicBands when you upgrade your tickets to annual passes if you do not wish to do so.  You have the option of opting out of receiving new MagicBands if your existing MagicBands listed in your My Disney Experience account are active and are less than 1 year old.
