We are going to Disney World in December 2016 with the Deluxe Dining Plan. We plan on going To Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Can you order a salad or soup as your appetizer?

Hi Lorrie, According to the 2016 Disney Deluxe Dining Plan brochure, each meal from a Signature Restaurant includes one (1) single-serving: • Appetizer • Entrée • Dessert • Non-Alcoholic Beverage Whilst the ability to order a salad or soup in lieu of your appetizer will ultimately be down to the discretion of your server/the restaurant management on the day of your reservation, I would think that there is probably a good chance that you will be able to, based purely on the fact that the cost of a salad or soup is less than that of an appetizer. All you can really do is ask the question of your server when ordering your food at Artist Point. Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime! Emma

Whilst the ability to order a salad or soup in lieu of your appetizer will ultimately be down to the discretion of your server/the restaurant management on the day of your reservation, I would think that there is probably a good chance that you will be able to, based purely on the fact that the cost of a salad or soup is less than that of an appetizer.

All you can really do is ask the question of your server when ordering your food at Artist Point.
