We are going to Disney World in December and want to see the camper's lights at the Fort Wilderness Camp Ground. We weren't able to book the Sleigh Ride. How doable is it to walk around an see the decorations?

    Hi Betty!

It's very easy to do!  The hardest part is getting to Fort Wilderness.  My favorite way to get there is to first go to the Magic Kingdom, and then, without entering the theme park, catch a boat that goes directly to Fort Wilderness.  It's fun and very relaxing on the water, though it can sometimes be cold at night!

Fort Wilderness is a huge resort and thus it will be hard to see everything, but if you just want to see some of the lights, you can easily just walk around once you get there.  You won't have any problems at all.  You also might consider making a dining reservation for Trail's End.  The restaurant offers a buffet of things you might find at a cookout and it's one of the best values on property!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
