    We will be at Disney World Dec 1-7 this year :) I'm thinking the Christmas parade taping might be going on while we're there.. So I'm wondering how this goes? Is MK closed during taping? When does it usually end? Should we try to attend or avoid it?

    Early December is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World! The parks and resorts are festively decorated, special holiday events are offered, and the weather is typically mild and sunny.

    Though the actual dates for the Christmas parade taping have not yet been announced, this event usually takes place the first or second weekend in December. The Magic Kingdom is open during taping which often lasts well into the afternoon. If you want to catch a glimpse of the excitement, then head over to Main Street , U.S.A. If crowds are not your thing then you might want to visit another park on the taping days. Actual taping dates will be announced closer to December.
