    Going to Disney World in 18 days! Just wondering if cash is accepted at restaurants, shops, snack stands, etc. in all of the parks? We have the dining plan & magic bands, but I would rather use cash where possible to avoid racking up the credit card b

    Hi Jennifer ~

    Your trip is just around the corner and I bet you're too excited to sleep already!

    You can absolutely use cash everywhere at Disney World. I try to avoid credit cards whenever possible too and I know when I run out of my "spending" cash, I'm done.

    Another option is purchasing a Disney Gift Card that is widely accepted throughout the Disney World Resort. This would allow you to avoid credit cards and not carry around cash but still keep track of your spending. There are no fees involved and they never expire.  You can purchase them at Disney World at most merchandise locations.
