    We will be at Disney World for 12 days (8-15 to 8-26). Is there any plans for Animal Kingdom to add evening EMH during this time? As of right now it is scheduled to close at 9:30 every night. Thank you. (Last evening EMH is July 4th)

    Hi Jacalyn,

    Good news! Walt Disney World has just adjusted the schedule for Animal Kingdom, adding nightly Extra Magic Hours from 10 p.m. to midnight from July 5  through August 19. So I'm excited that you will be able to experience Animal Kingdom, especially Pandora -- The World of Avatar -- during the late night. 

    The new land truly glows after dark and is an experience like no other. You won't believe the detail throughout the land. And wait until you experience Avatar Flight of Passage and the Na'vi River Journey!

    During the late evening Extra Magic Hours, you'll also have the opportunity to experience the Rivers of Light music, light and projection show, which will be performed twice each night. Besides Pandora, my favorite thing about nighttime at Animal Kingdom is the chance to ride Expedition Everest in the dark. It's an entirely different experience -- and even more thrilling -- than in the daytime.
