We are going to Disney World for 8 days the first full week of June. There are a total of 14 of us going (7 adults and 7 children). Do you have any suggestions for activities we can do as a group?

Here are a few ideas:  Try to reserve a fireworks cruise. There are three that I know of, but they are not easily found.

2 Cruises are at Epcot's IllumiNations, I have not been on this one, but if you want to have an adult night, you can charter the 1930's vintage boat Breathless (last print price I could locate was $180, up to seven people). Or if you want to rent a Pontoon boat it holds up to 12 people. I realize you have 14 people, however, 7 are children so I don't know if any of those are lap babies, or what the breakdown is, as that may determine whether this is a viable option for you.  The cost of that cruise I could find in print was $234.00 and it includes snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.  You can call 407-939-7529.

This one I was on and it was called the WISHES fireworks cruise, and you get to watch the fireworks from Seven Seas Lagoon aboard a chartered pontoon boat.  Again, up to 12 people, so you will need to call and see. This one costs a bit more. It was $275.00 and we divided it amongst a couple of us.  You have your family, no mob, and its fantastic, the view is incredible.

Something thats free, and is fun for kids and adults alike you can go on a scavenger hunt.  It's called the "Kids Guide to Epcot Scavenger Hunt". You can find it at the park entrances along with the maps and the schedule. If you can't find it there, just stop in at Guest Relations and they can give you the hunt.  You have to solve questions about rides, shows and countries in order to solve a riddle at the end.  Our kids took their answer to Guest Relations, and they were given a prize. Not sure they always do it, but they did.  It was fun for us too. That should get you started!! Have fun!!! Heather M.
