We are going to Disney World in 10 days and have a dining plan. We have all our reservations set but would like a definition on qualifies quick service, snacks etc.

Hi Kari! Your trip is rapidly approaching, and I know you must be so excited!

You'll find a TON of options when it comes to dining with a Walt Disney World Resort dining plan. Depending on what type of plan you have, you may be able to dine at Quick-Service, Table-Service and/or Fine/Signature dining locations.

Quick-Service restaurants are spots where you order at a counter/window and take your food with you to eat on-the-go or find a table nearby to enjoy your meal. Table-Service restaurants are locations where reservations are recommended, a host or hostess will take you to your table and a Cast Member will personally assist you at your table. Fine/Signature locations are Table-Service meals that provide a more upscale experience and generally take two Table-Service credits at each meal.

It would be impossible to list all of the incredible snack options you will have on your vacation because there are so many! You will find the dining plan symbol on menus all over the Walt Disney World Resort that indicate what qualifies as a snack with the dining plan. From bottled water and soda to Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar to pieces of fruit to candy to assorted pastries, etc. I told you there were a lot of choices! One place I love to use my snack credits is Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase. This Quick-Service location offers an array of delicious pastries, including my favorite, the Citron Tarte. Goodness, now I'm hungry! You can also use your snack credits for many offerings at the food kiosks you'll find during your visit at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.

Enjoy your trip and happy eating!
