    I am going to Disney World for my daughters birthday this month, she will turn 5 while we are there. We might be taking a lyft places and I was wondering about a booster seat for her. I can by a travel one but would rather no if possible.

    Welcome back to planDisney! We’re so happy to hear from you again, and hope you are getting excited for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You’ll be strolling The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few days! Oh boy! 

    The grab-and-go booster seats available online have gotten pretty amazing over the years! There are a few really compact and affordable options that my family keeps in our day-bags during vacations now when we know we are going to be using ride share services! But, I totally understand not wanting the extra baggage! 

    You can request a car seat option on most ride share services now; however, this does increase your price, and there is no guarantee that there will be a driver with the correct car seat option you will need for your child at the moment you need a ride. I would personally recommend a grab-and-go or travel booster seat to widen your options and reduce the need for you to hunt through all of the ride share services to find a compatible and safe ride for your party.
