We will be in Disney World after our cruise (unfortunately not with Disney). What is the best way to get from Port Caneveral to the Pop Century? TIA

    Ahoy, Sarah!

So, you're planning a magical stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort after your adventure on the high seas. That sounds like an excellent idea. Have you stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort since the rooms were reimagined and refurbished? They're really lovely.

The best way to get from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World Resort depends on whether or not you wish to drive. If you don't mind doing the driving yourself, it may be most cost-efficient to reserve a rental car for a one-way trip. There is an Alamo rental car counter in Port Canaveral and at the Car Care Center near Magic Kingdom Park. There's a second Alamo rental car counter on Walt Disney World Resort property at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. This second location is conveniently located between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you aren't able to get a good rate on a rental car, or if you'd rather let someone else do the driving, you could arrange for a private car service to pick you up at Port Canaveral and have them transport you to Disney's Pop Century Resort. There are many companies in the central Florida area who provide this service. Personally, I have used Mears Transportation with good results.

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip,
