I've been to Disney World a couple times now.But this will be the first time I'll be going with my husband and son.My son is going to be 4 when we go in Oct.2010 and I would like to know what resort would be best for us.

Hi, Stephanie!   Taking your family to WDW for the first time is so magical!   You must be very excited.

For a 4 year old boy, you might want to consider Caribbean Beach.   This Moderate Resort has Pirate Themed rooms (yep, even  pirate ship beds!), several pools around the resort, and the main pool area is a blast with a splash area, pirate ship at the pool and even a slide.   There is a nice food court, sandy beaches (sorry, so swimming in the lake) and walking paths around the resort.

If you are considering a Value Resort, you son might like All-Star Sports.  This has always been a favorite for my kids.   There is a fun sports theme throughout the resort, a huge pool, game room, food court, and just a bunch of fun for kids.

    Good luck planning your vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
