Welcome back Robert!
It sounds like you are on the right track with your holiday trip planning. The
Candlelight Processional at Epcot is my absolute favorite Christmas event at Walt Disney World. The beautiful sight of candlelit choir members and the awe-inspiring harmonies sung during the performance makes it one of the most moving and poignant holiday experiences. If you haven't already done so, be sure to book a Candlelight Dining Package to reduce wait times and ensure you have a seat for the performance.
The
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios is a great way to take in this high-energy, top tapping projection and fireworks extravaganza while indulging in some delicious holiday treats. If you happen to be arriving prior to December 22, I also highly recommend attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. Standing on Main Street, U.S.A. with a cup of steaming hot cocoa, watching the "snow" fall as Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade glides by is one of my favorite holiday traditions.
Robert, last year there were two special ticketed events for
Disney Vacation Club members during the holidays, including a Christmas Eve buffet dinner as well as a New Year's Day Brunch complete with holiday activities, music, and special photo opportunities with Disney Characters decked out in their finest attire. Be sure to keep your eye on the Member website over the next few months for any special events which might be happening this year!
